Choose how dates are displayed throughout the app (e.g., MM/DD/YYYY or DD/MM/YYYY).

Display Timezone

Set the timezone used when displaying trade times in the app.

Account Aliases

The Accounts Display sub-tab lets you set custom display names for your trading accounts. This is useful when you have multiple accounts and want to easily identify them (e.g., "Main Account" instead of a long account number).

Broker Settings

This tab displays all your configured brokers and accounts. For detailed information, see the Broker Setup guide.

Quick Actions

  • Add Broker: Configure a new broker or account
  • Edit: Modify timezone, commission, or auto-sync settings
  • Delete: Remove a broker configuration (does not delete trade data)

Data & Privacy Settings

The Data & Privacy tab provides data management and privacy controls.

Leaderboard Participation

There are two separate controls for public visibility:

  • Make Profile Public (in General tab): Controls whether your profile can be viewed by others
  • Appear on Public Leaderboard (in Data & Privacy tab): Controls whether you're listed in the public rankings

Both settings work independently - you can have a public profile without appearing on the leaderboard.

Export Your Data

Download a copy of your trade data at any time:

  1. Select a broker from the dropdown (or "All Brokers" to export everything)
  2. Click "Export" to download your execution data as an Excel file

Delete Data

If you need to remove all your data from TiltedTrades, use the "Delete All My Data" option. This permanently removes all your trades, journals, balance entries, and account settings.

Warning: Permanent Action

Data deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. You'll be asked to confirm before any data is removed.

Your Data Is Yours

Your trade data is never shared with third parties or sold. Privacy settings only affect visibility on the public leaderboard.

  • Show Success Messages: Toggle on/off the confirmation messages that appear after actions like uploading trades or saving changes

  • Enable Email Notifications: Master toggle to control whether you receive any emails from TiltedTrades

  • FIFO/Per Position: How different trade matching methods work

Main Sections

Brief descriptions of each page in the app (Dashboard, Trade Log, Balance, Journals, Analytics, Calendar) and what you can do on each.

Uploading Your Data

Step-by-step instructions for importing trades from different brokers, organized in tabs:

  • CQG: Instructions for AMP/CQG file exports
  • NinjaTrader: Instructions for NinjaTrader performance reports
  • Rithmic: Instructions for connecting via Rithmic
  • Custom: Instructions for using the custom upload template

Tips for Managing Settings

Review Broker Settings First

When you first set up TiltedTrades, configure your brokers before importing trades. This ensures correct timezone and commission calculations.

Export Data Regularly

Create regular data backups using the export feature. This protects you against accidental deletion and gives you offline access to your data.

Enable Useful Notifications

The weekly summary email is a great way to stay accountable and review your trading performance without logging in daily.
