Date Range Controls

At the top of the Analytics page, you'll find powerful date range controls that allow you to focus your analysis:

Quick Select Presets

Choose from common time periods with a single click:

  • This Week / Last Week: Current or previous week's performance
  • This Month / Last Month: Current or previous month's performance
  • This Quarter / Last Quarter: Quarterly analysis
  • This Year / Last Year: Annual performance
  • All-Time: Your complete trading history
  • Custom: Set your own start and end dates

Custom Date Range

Select specific start and end dates using the date picker. This is useful for:

  • Analyzing performance during specific market conditions
  • Comparing different time periods
  • Evaluating changes after strategy adjustments

All charts and metrics update instantly when you change the date range, making it easy to compare different periods.

Key Metrics Overview

The top section displays your most important trading statistics for the selected period:

Metric Description
Net/Gross P&L Total profit/loss (switch between net and gross using the toggle)
Win Rate Percentage of profitable trades
Profit Factor Ratio of gross profit to gross loss
Total Positions Number of positions taken in the period
Total Trades Total number of matched trades (buy/sell pairs)
Contracts Traded Total number of contracts traded

Equity Curve Chart

The equity curve shows your cumulative P&L over the selected time period:

What to Look For

  • Consistent upward slope: Indicates steady profitability
  • Sharp drops: May signal need for risk management review
  • Plateaus: Periods of breakeven trading
  • Recovery speed: How quickly you bounce back from drawdowns

Symbol Performance Analysis

A breakdown of your performance by trading instrument, showing your top 10 symbols sorted by P&L:

  • Contracts traded
  • Win rate percentage
Strategy Tip

Focus your trading on instruments where you have a proven edge. If you're consistently losing on a particular symbol, consider removing it from your trading plan.

Performance Over Time

A line chart showing your P&L and win rate trends over time. The chart automatically adjusts to show daily, weekly, or monthly data points based on your selected date range.

Daily P&L Bar Chart

A bar chart showing your P&L for each trading day:

  • Green bars for profitable days
  • Red bars for losing days
  • Hover to see exact daily totals

Win/Loss Distribution

A pie chart showing the proportion of winning versus losing trades in your selected period.

Statistics Panels

The lower section contains detailed statistical breakdowns:

Win/Loss Statistics

  • Winning, losing, and breakeven trade counts
  • Average win size and average loss size
  • Largest win and largest loss

Risk Metrics

  • Max Value (highest equity point)
  • Min Value (lowest equity point)
  • Max Drawdown (largest peak-to-trough decline)
  • Expectancy (average P&L per trade)

Commission Analysis

Set aside time weekly or monthly to review your analytics. Look for patterns, identify areas for improvement, and celebrate your wins.
